I do notice a decrease in my appetite. I will continue to take this for the next couple months to see if the decrease in appetite continues, especially around those more emotional times of the month. I subscribe to a fee-based website called ConsumerLabs.com and through their site you can check to see what vitamins and supplements they’ve tested and if they really have what they claim they have inside them. Well, gladly, the Genesis Today product “Passed” their testing and was recommended. I was glad because when I bought this brand it was just a wild guess. All I knew is it has the right words on the bottle! So I’m going to give this a few months and see if there’s any real change that will make it worth it to continue taking this.

Takes my Appetite, October 16, 2012

I’ve incorporated these pills with a 13 week running program and will tell you the results once completed.
I was already actively working out before taking these pills, but not working towards increasing my running time.

Here’s what I have noticed: they take my appetite…like completely.

When I take them before a meal, I will usually drink at minimum, two glasses of water with it…some may think “well that’s what taking your appetite”. Well, you’d have to know me to know that’s NEVER the case with me. The whole drink water thing before you eat has never ever staved off hunger for me. I consider myself a foodie….

I’m not obese, but marginally overweight, about 10 – 15 pounds…depending on how you rate the BMI chart (which isn’t too high on my chart since it rated me in the past at 27.1 but when a fat caliper test was done, I was at 23.7, due to having large amounts of muscle mass).

Also, I tried the other product by this company (green bottle) and found the same thing: lack of appetite.
I was losing weight (about 4 pounds in two weeks) but then started eating like I was superwoman and pretty much gained back most of it.

So now I’m trying this one, for the long haul though, the entire 12 weeks which coincides with my running program.
These pills tell you to take 2 – 3X’s per day, but I find doing 2 in the a.m., and one each at lunch and dinner seem adequate (the amounts recommended on Dr. Oz show based on the study was less than what one of these pills provides so they can last longer than recommended.)

Also, no nausea, after taste or side effects (that I’ve noticed).
They are NOT supposed to have much caffeine in them, but taking them lessens my urge for coffee too so go figure that one…as good as the coffee industry would like us to believe coffee is for us, you know the whole saying “too much of ANYTHING can’t be good for you, right?”

    Any who….

Good luck to anyone trying them.

I have lost 10# using green coffee bean extract. I have not changed my diet – nor exercized. I am 64 years old: my metabolism is slow. I walk at work but don’t exercise otherwise. Just take the caps like it says and the weight falls off. My pants are now too big, because I have lost weight in my hips and thighs. It’s worth the risk of a month’s worth of capsules to loose 1-2 pounds a week. I highly recommend this product.
