  1. Quality Gen Mai Cha I am a big fan of Gen Mai Cha, and usually I purchase it loose. When I was traveling recently, I didn’t have access to my usual tea brewing supplies, so I used the teabags the conference center had on hand. They were Numi bags, and I’d never tried Numi before. I was definitely pleasantly surprised. Numi’s Gen Mai Cha bags brew a smooth and flavorful cup, with a strong toasty/nutty flavor.     A Different Type of Green Tea Sure to Please *****I have tasted many green teas, and this Gen Mai Cha is so different from any other one I’ve ever tried! It says on the package that it is nutty and savory and smooth—this is all true. I would add that it has a flavor that does indeed taste like toasted rice, and feels like a “comfort food” too—just so unique and yummy! It looks just like regular tea, and you can’t discern anything that is rice-like about it, except in the taste. The package says that it is a “medium caffeine”…
