  2. hi russ …i weighted 115 kg when i started my weight loss program
    ……but it seems that i reached the plateau like now i weigh 106 kg and
    im at this number since 3 months nn its really decreasing my motivation
    levels ….so help me …..i tried many diets including no carb diet
    ,,,green tea diet etc n hard exercises but it keeps coming back after
    losing one kg … please help …waiting for reply

    actual food.

  8. Hi Amy, The tips in today’s video will help, they’re all proven and work
    long-term as well as short term. There is another video on our channel
    which gives the second bunch of 5 tips too if you’d like to go ‘all out’.
    To be honest with you, at 12, it’s a case of simply eating a bit healthier
    and getting plenty exercise, no drastic steps are needed and it won’t take
    long to get results :) Also your video “Why do people bully?” is great. Russ

  9. You said snack on protein shakes – is that suggested even if you are
    looking to lose weight? Also how do you know what type of protein shakes
    are good? For example, I’ve always come to think (I guess I heard around a
    lot) that something from your local supermarket ain’t always that great. Is
    this true? Either way what should we look for when it comes to protein

  10. Set a target to reach around 200lbs with this & you should see weight
    falling off. 200lbs x 12 = 2400kcals per day. Protein would be 240g, Carbs
    240g and fats 53g. 5-6 meals per day, complex carbs instead of simple carbs
    in most situations, exercise (HIIT & weights are great) and you will get
    there. Russ

    i am 12 years old and i wan too loose weight i am not really fat but i have
    some faat and i want to loose that as fast as possible the reason why i do
    is because i always feel awkward when i change in the chaging rooms and my
    freinds beelys are completly slim so please reply back too me on tips on

    serving size. and incorporated in to your daily intake.

  29. That’s a good question. The best time to take a shake is post-workout in
    water, but if you are cutting down carbs (dieting) and don’t want to lose
    muscle you could also take a shake 30 mins before training in water. For
    most ppl 2 per day is fine, but it’s upto you. Never go above 4 though. The
    key word to remember is ‘Supplement’. It’s there to aid your diet, not
    replace it, you need actual food too. Russ

  31. Hi there, Yes. Plenty of healthy fats there and even some protein, too. As
    long as they’re not the ultra salted ones of course :)

    by the way i’ve lost 2 stones And im losing more! and building alot of
    muscle too, I’m 15, male, 84kgs, used to be like 97! and also put on some
    muscle mass and made gains

    Hi Russ I just wanted to let you know last month I watched your video. I
    did some of the simple changes you said. Nothing big. more water. eat
    protein. little exercise. Guess what I had my weight taken by my doctor I
    lost 15 pnds in a month. The first I’ve lost in 10 years!!! Thanks Russ. I
    will continue to make small changes like you said.

  42. This sounds good, I’m not actually a fat person, I’ve been working in a
    call centre for 3 years which has really made me put on weight but only on
    my stomach an buttocks. The rest of me is the same as it always was , I
    wonder if this is the right approach for me also.

  45. Thanks for the reply. I have one more question when it comes to protein
    shakes (I just remembered now), when should you drink them? I know you have
    said to drink a shake after a workout (with water) but when else? Can you
    drink them whenever you like? How many should you drink a day? Can you
    drink too much (is that basically just when you go over your protein intake
    for your diet or is too many shakes a day bad anyways?). Sorry for the
    bombardment of questions.

  47. Hi there, This happens to a lot of people and comes more down to
    determination than any scientific reason. When your day starts winding down
    try to limit the amount of carbs you consume, studies show we store more
    fat if we eat a lot of carbs during inactive periods rather than during
    busy periods of the day. Ultimately, you need to focus on what you’re
    trying to achieve because dieting 50% of the day only yields 50% results.
